What is ComPaSS ?



ComPaSS is the partnership community profiling and problem solving resource for Northamptonshire's safer and stronger partnerships. The aim of ComPaSS is to support safer and stronger partnerships in Northamptonshire through the development and production of a range of practitioner-focused, fully researched and analysed products and services to support the delivery of high performing, purposeful partnerships.
The primary objectives of ComPaSS are :
- To assist in the identification of local safer and stronger partnership priorities through the regular production of performance, spatial and associated research and analysis, and providing appropriate interpretation of findings.
- To develop and produce fully researched and analysed Solution Profiles on behalf of local Safer and Stronger partnerships to inform a local multi-agency problem solving approach to tackling priority issues.
- To provide assistance, support and advice in the management of projects and initiatives, monitoring of action plans and project and initiative evaluation.
- To assist Safer and Stronger partnerships in the identification of gaps and barriers in the provision of data and information, subsequently aiding the development of joint initiatives to overcome these, and identify opportunities for collaborative analysis and research.
- To develop, produce, manage and maintain Community Profiles to inform and support community initiatives, such as Neighbourhood Policing and Neighbourhood and Rural Renewal.
- To provide analytical support to the Safer and Stronger Communities Management Team to assist in the delivery of Safer and Stronger Outcomes identified within the Local Area Agreement
